It was a time of poodle skirts, Elvis, American Bandstand, hula
hoops and Duncan Hines... it was the fifties! Join us as we celebrate
the life of Duncan Hines! Enjoy 50s cocktails, music and cars.
Visit the new Recommended by Duncan Hines exhibit. 1950s costumes
encouraged. RSVP by July 23 by calling (270) 745-4502. Suggested
donation: $50 each or $75 per couple. Proceeds benefit the education
programs of the Kentucky Library & Museum.

9 am - Eggs and Country Ham Breakfast with presentation by historian
and Duncan Hines expert Jonathan Jeffrey
10 am - Children's Pageant (Kentucky Room)
3 pm - Chautauqua presentation, "Meet Duncan Hines"

Friday, August 10 - Fountain Square Park Downtown
5 pm - Duck Derby Begins
6:30 pm - Street Dance with music by "Blue Light Special"
9 pm - Street Dance with music by "Skip Bond and the Fugitives"
Duck Derby and Children's inflatables will be going on through
the evening. Food vendors will be available. Duck Derby should
conclude around 10:30pm.
