The Bowling Green Junior Woman’s Club is pleased to announce that they will be hosting their 17th Annual Duncan Hines Festival 2013 events at the historic downtown Bowling Green and WKU’s Kentucky Library & Museum this weekend!

To commemorate the legacy of our local resident, Duncan Hines, there will many events held in celebration! This festival has something for everyone!!

Friday, July 12- Circus Square Park from 6-11pm
Activities include Uncle Duncan’s Duck Derby, a Brownie Eating Contest, kids’ inflatables, vendors, face painting and other children’s activities. The Concert in the Park series will feature Andy & the Rockers playing at 8pm.

Saturday, July 13-

The Adventures in Good Baking Contest and The Adventurous Kids Baking Contest will be held today.

This is an event you don’t want to miss! The Duncan Hines Festival is an annual fundraiser to benefit selected local nonprofits and is sponsored by the Bowling Green Junior Woman’s Club and many others. The public is encouraged to bring the whole family, lawn chairs or blanket, and donations.

Outdoor amphitheater and site of many festivals and events throughout the year. Park includes refreshing water feature. Free Concerts in the Park Friday nights in July and August.
