Bowling Green to be Featured on the Food Network

Bowling Green, Ky. – The city of Bowling Green will get its 15 minutes of fame on the Food Network during the second episode of Feasting on Asphalt. The episode’s debut will be at 8 p.m. CDT on Aug. 5.

Feasting on Asphalt documents Alton Brown’s journey across America in search of the nation’s best road food. Brown stopped at any place he could get a meal including truck stops, diners, churches and regional favorites.

The legacy of Duncan Hines was a highlight of Brown’s visit to Bowling Green. The episode will include a tour of Hines’ former home and gravesite.  Brown also sampled some Monroe County style BBQ while he was in town.
