Skeleton’s Lair Haunted Woods, located 13 miles out Cemetery Road, opens at dusk every Friday and Saturday beginning September 26, plus Thursday, October 30 through November 1. Also at Skeleton’s Lair Haunted Woods is the kid-friendly PumpkinFest first two Saturdays in October from 11 am – 3 pm. There will be pumpkin-decorating everyone gets to take home, face painting, a daylight tour of the haunted woods, refreshments, and photo opportunities. Cost is $5 per person.

Fountain Square Players presents, Frankenstein written by Victor Gialanella based on the novel written by Mary Shelly and directed by Bill Green at The Phoenix Theater located at 545 Morris Alley. The 8th Annual Bellewood Halloween Hustle is October 18, 2008 at Kereiakes Park. Registration is at 7 am, the 5K run is at 8 am, the 3K walk begins at 9 am, and the Kids Dash kicks off at 9:15 am. Visit Chaney's Dairy Barn thru October for a walk through their corn maze. Car's cows have gotten out, and visitors are tasked with finding their way through the Chaney Maze to help round them up.
