STATE FARM SPONSORS BASKETBALL SHOOTOUT

Five Back-to-back Games in One Day

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Kentucky high school boys’ basketball calendar just got another event stronger. State Farm announces its sponsorship of the State Farm Shootout, a new, mid-season event taking place on January 31, 2009 at Bowling Green High School.

The event will be a day of non-stop hoops action with five back-to-back games between squads from Kentucky, Tennessee and Ohio. Teams from Henderson County, Louisville Male, Louisville Eastern, Murfreesboro Siegel from Middle Tennessee, and Huber Heights Wayne from outside Dayton, Ohio will travel to compete against Warren East, Franklin-Simpson, Allen County Scottsville, Greenwood, and Bowling Green respectively. See the full schedule here.

“Giving our area teams a chance to meet some fresh competition and developing relationships with strong athletic programs outside our area are the main reasons we wanted to support this new tournament,” State Farm agent D.C. Clement said.
