The Center for Courageous Kids
Nestled in the beautiful Bluegrass is a peaceful little town called Scottsville, Kentucky. The birthplace of your favorite hometown Store, The Dollar General Store, is also the location of a state of the art, world-class “medical camping facility” called The Center for Courageous Kids.
We welcome medically fragile children and their families from across the country, over 9,300 kids from 31 states and Canada have come thus far! The Center for Courageous Kids is designed specifically for the child living with medical challenges who could not attend a traditional camp.
A 501(c)(3) not for profit organization, relying solely on donations, we are dedicated to uplifting children living with chronic or life-threatening illnesses. The children and their families who come and experience camp, do so free of charge.
We invite you to explore our website, learn more about CCK, and feel free to contact us with additional questions or interest in holding a meeting or day seminar at our facility. Price range for rental is $500 and space is available Monday-Wednesday.
