About the BG Area CVB
As the official destination marketing organization for Bowling Green and Warren County, the Bowling Green Area Convention & Visitors Bureau’s mission is to promote tourist and convention activity in the area. Our vision is to generate economic impact by promoting and developing our region as a welcoming destination for visitors. In other words, we inspire folks to come see why Bowling Green is a wonderful place to visit, and as a result, put heads in beds, bags in hands, fans in seats, and napkins in laps!
Like to know what’s happening around town? Want to know what’s going on before you arrive? Each Monday, we collect all the week’s events and compile them in a convenient one-pager posted to our Events page, plus update our handy "Events this Weekend" search. If you just want to keep up with events, happenings and updates from the area, sign up for our Monthly Leisure e-news in the box on any of these pages.
Do you work at a restaurant, shop, attraction, gas station, or other business in Bowling Green frequented by visitors? Then you need to become a Very Enthusiastic Travel & Tourism Expert! Attend one of our free V.E.T.T.E. Hospitality Training classes for the latest information on the area with tips on how to use the Visitor’s Guide, how to keep guests here longer, how to give great directions and suggestions, and a recap of why tourism matters. The class lasts one hour and is offered several times each spring and early summer. Contact our Information Specialists at 270-782-0800 for the current schedule and to sign up, or make arrangements for us to come to your business and teach the entire team.
Local tourism businesses can also receive industry news, bureau happenings and attraction updates. We’ll keep you in the loop with the Tourism Transmission e-newsletter, sent every few weeks, that's full of the latest hospitality news and CVB updates.
