BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (June 10, 2026) – Governor Andy Beshear announced the 2025 economic impact of Kentucky’s tourism industry today – The Bowling Green and Warren County Area contributed $495.2 million in economic impact and over $40 million was spent that went into state and local taxes, totaling greater than 2024's record breaking numbers and contributing to 4,020 jobs in Warren county. This increase exhibits travelers' continuing choice of Bowling Green as a vacation, events and meeting destination year after year. The impact survey was produced for the Kentucky Tourism, Arts, and Heritage Cabinet by Tourism Economics, the Kentucky Department of Tourism’s research partner.

More people are choosing Bowling Green, and that is a wonderful sign of the vitality of our tourism industry and local economy.”
