Happy Birthday, USA! What better way to celebrate Independence Day than some wonderful fireworks displays? If the weather cooperates for outdoor fun, the following events are scheduled to take place.
2019 Thunderfest Fireworks Celebration
National Corvette Museum Amphitheatre
350 Corvette Dr., Bowling Green, KY 42101
Gates open at 4 pm, and Thunderfest costs $25/carload. Activities include a hot dog eating contest, live music featuring Tyrone Dunn and Kin-Foke, Kids Zone, food vendors, and games. Kids Zone wristbands will be available for $10. Fireworks begin at approximately 9:30 pm. ThunderFest is produced by the Kiwanis Club of Bowling Green with proceeds going to various children's charities. The NCM Motorsports Park will be donating 10 percent of the proceeds from go-kart racing on July 3 to the Kiwanis Club, as well.

Bowling Green Hot Rods Post-game Fireworks Spectacular
BG Ballpark, 300 E. 8th Avenue, Bowling Green, KY 42101
Join the Hot Rods as they celebrate Independence Day with the largest fireworks show in South Central Kentucky! Many spots in downtown BG will provide great viewing locations if you can't make it for the game! The game versus the Dayton Dragons starts at 6:35 pm, so fireworks could begin as early as 9:30 pm.

This is always an amazing patriotic display of fireworks launched from the beach! $10 per carload! Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets and make plans to spend the day.
