Kenan Mujkanovic will speak at the Bob Kirby Branch on Thursday, August 9 at 6:00 p.m . This event is part of our Local Inspirations series.
Kenan Mujkanovic is an 18 year old, Bosnian-American, from Bowling Green, Kentucky. He is the founder of Young Visionaries Foundation, which he founded at the age of 16 in hopes of striving to make a positive impact in his community and to serve as a world-wide inspiration. The organization connects youth around the world through acts of community service and instills the importance of achieving their dreams by obtaining a high level of education. Kenan is the recipient of many noble honors including the Jefferson Award and the National Caring Award -- an award previously won by Pope Francis, Bill Clinton, Muhammad Ali, Maya Angelou, and the Honorable Edward M. Kennedy. In 2017, he published Voices of Bowling Green: Tales of Young Visionaries.
