UnSeen BG Walking TourE-Mail
Unseen Bowling Green’s Histories, Mysteries, Scandals and Haunts Walking Tour, presented by the Historic RailPark & Train Museum, features a walking tour at Fairview Cemetery called UnSeen Murder Mansion. This new set of stories will take you on a historic adventure you never knew existed in Bowling Green. The tour is brand new this year and offers something a little more intriguing. This tour will disclose the dark and mysterious history rooted around the infamous Murder Mansion killings.
UnSeen BG has teamed up with Wes Swietek, managing editor of the Bowling Green Daily News and author of the new book The Cemetery Road Murders, to get stories for this tour, and select evenings will offer a Murder Mansion — Meet the Author Tour.
The tour starts at Kereiakes Park, then goes into Fairview Cemetery. UnSeen BG considers this tour family friendly, but it is at the parents' discretion whether the tour is appropriate for their child. The tour may cover ghost stories, the affects of the Civil War, deaths and lynching. The tour is about 1.5 miles.
Tours will run select Thursday-Saturday evenings, Sept. 10-Oct. 30.
