The second Cultural Enhancement Series of 2017-18 presents political commentator Robert Reich, one of the world's leading thinkers about work and the economy. Now Chancellor's professor of Public Policy at the University of California at Berkeley, he has served under three national administrations, most recently as Secretary of Labor under Bill Clinton. He also served on President Barack Obama's economic transition advisory board. In 2008, TIME magazine named him one of the ten most successful cabinet secretaries of the past century. Reich is the author of 15 books including The Work of Nations, which has been translated into 22 languages, and several other national best sellers. He has a reputation for seeing where politics and the economy are going before they get there.

The WKU Cultural Enhancement Series (CES) provides the campus and community the opportunity to meet some of the nation’s most influential artists and intellectuals.  The goal of the series is to challenge our audiences, to expose them to new ideas, and give them new perspectives on our world.

Admission is free, no tickets necessary, seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Photo by Bryan Lemon.
