This veteran-owned vineyard and winery is located one mile off I-65 and is now open for daily tastings and purchases. Come experience premium quality wines in a newly-constructed, Tuscan-inspired winery with outdoor seating areas also available.
The winery, offering more than 25 premium, handcrafted wines, sits on 30 acres and is adjacent to the vineyard of more than 2,000 grape vines. Each year they host their Bluegrass Harvest Days where volunteers from the community harvest and stomp over 4,000 pounds of grapes. It's a family friendly venue and is open to private events both large and small.
Bluegrass Vineyard is a community oriented business that supports local farmers; all their fruit comes from south-central Kentucky, most of it from their own vineyard. Each grape vine produces just under 2 bottles of wine, so any vineyard with thousands of grape vines legitimately produces their own products. Bluegrass Vineyard sits on top of Mammoth Cave, where the limestone rock and rolling hills creates an ideal location to grow grapes.
