The Shaker Tavern, built in 1869 as a business venture for the South Union Shakers, housed a hotel for the 'people of the world.' Today you can rent a room for a variety of functions, including catered meals, meetings and receptions. The two dining rooms hold a total of 20 classroom style and 48 banquet style. French doors separate the two rooms, and there is space outdoors for other functions.
