Southern KY Model Aero Club

The Southern Kentucky Model Aero Club's Stahl Field is a family-fun outdoor site that hosts several spectator-friendly events each year including the Bluegrass All Electric Fly-In, Vette City Big Birds, and War Bird Alley. SKYMAC has worked hard since the charter in 1973 to develop one of the best flying sites in the United States. In 1991, SKYMAC dedicated the flying site to lost member Carson L. Stahl, hence the name “Stahl Memorial Aerodrome.”

Currently SKYMAC has a member base of approximately 90 members from Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana. Visit the website for a full calendar of events.
