For more than three decades, the Phoenix Theatre has been home to local production company the Public Theatre of Kentucky. The Phoenix seats 146 people, is wheelchair accessible and houses the Public Theatre of Kentucky's top-quality live productions such as "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever!" (a local tradition), new works by Kentucky playwrights through PTK's Kentucky Voices series and PTK's groundbreaking camps and workshops, which include "Special Stages: Theatre Therapy for Students on the Autism Spectrum."
