Our mission is to offer a comprehensive variety of excellent recreational programs and facilities that promote wellness and enhance quality of life in our diverse community and represent our commitment to a safe and sustainable future.
Vision
Our vision is to provide a wide range of park and recreational services that are balanced and inclusive for all residents and visitors. These services will encourage community health through the provision of welcoming parks, facilities, and programs, including athletics, that are clean, safe, and consistent in delivery. Services and facilities will be enhanced through collaboration and investment for a future that connects the community and embraces the City's diversity, both in terms of its residents and its resources.

Adaptive Recreation Summer Camp Registration
Apr 12, 2024
Adaptive Recreation will begin registration on Monday, April 15 at 8 am for New Adventure Adult Camp (18+ years) and Camp Happy Days (6-18 years). It's a great opportunity for all ages with intellectual or physical disabilities, be active and socialize. Contact 270-393-3484 for more info.
2024 Fairview Cemetery Annual Cleanup

Fairview Cemetery Staff begins their Annual Cleanup March 1. Cleanup will continue throughout the mowing/mulching season. Any items in the way of grave maintenance along with worn, faded flowers and trinkets will be removed. For more information contact 270-393-3607.
Spring Tennis Camp Registration

Bowling Green Parks and Recreation is accepting registration for Spring Tennis Camp online. Session dates are available for Youth (6-16) and Adults (17+) during April and May. For more information contact 270-393-3624.
Lifeguard Certification & Recertification Registration
Feb 13, 2024
Bowling Green Parks and Recreation is taking registration online for Lifeguard Certification Courses. An online portion is required before the first class. Fees will be waived for waterpark employees that work the entire season. For more information, please contact 270-393-3549.
