Bowling Green, Ky. – July 21, 2015 –Bowling Green welcomes the 2015 Amateur Softball Association of America (ASA) Girls 14U Class “A” Fast Pitch Northern National Championship this week.
With more than 50 teams registered to compete, at least 12 states will be represented during tournament play at Michael O. Buchanon Park from Wednesday to Sunday.
Bowling Green’s hospitality and community efforts have proven successful in hosting ASA national tournaments over the past three years.
“We do our best to welcome these teams into our community,” Amy Cardwell, Sports Sales Director at the Bowling Green Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, said. “Bowling Green embraces visiting sports teams and works well with these organizations to continue bringing impactful tournaments like this to our city.”
The tournament kicks off at Buchanon Park on Wednesday and games will be available for viewing online via Live Streaming HD and audio.
