Bowling Green, Ky.—April 18, 2016—The Mid-South Conference (MSC) is once again partnering with the Boys & Girls Club of Bowling Green. At this week’s MSC Golf Championships at the Bowling Green Country Club, the participating collegiate golfers will be spending time with the children on the golf course.

MSC Commissioner Eric Ward said bringing teams to lead age appropriate golf activities for the Boys & Girls Club children is part of the conference’s program to give back to the community.

“Bowling Green hosts many of Mid-South Conference championships and we want to give these kids the opportunity to meet our athletes, participate in clinics and get to know us,” Ward said.

About 25 children from the Boys & Girls Club of Bowling Green ranging from third grade to high school age will be at the Bowling Green Country Club on Tuesday afternoon at 4 p.m. The kids will have opportunities to learn more about putting, chipping and the driving range.

The MSC Golf Championships run today through Wednesday at the Bowling Green Country Club. MSC is a nine full-member athletic conference associated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletes (NAIA). For more please visit www.mid-southconference.org.
