Bowling Green, Ky. – The Bowling Green Area Convention & Visitors Bureau has named Beth Noffsinger as its new Public Relations Manager. Noffsinger previously worked at the Owensboro (Ky.) Messenger-Inquirer and South Central Bank.

Noffsinger looks forward to assisting in the promotion of the wonderful events and attractions in Bowling Green and Warren County. She first became exposed to the travel industry during her eight years at the Messenger-Inquirer, when she covered many of the tourist draws to that area. She worked as Arts/Entertainment Reporter, News Editor, Features Editor and Special Publications Editor during her tenure at the Messenger-Inquirer.

“Tourism is vital to the economy of any region,” Noffsinger said. “I am eager to help showcase this amazing community and its destinations. There are so many reasons to visit Bowling Green and Warren County – I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with local attractions and businesses to help showcase all we have to offer.”       

Originally from Louisville, Ky., Noffsinger graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2006 with a degree in News/Editorial Journalism. She spent seven semesters working for the award-winning College Heights Herald student newspaper, where she served as sports editor for two semesters.
