Bowling Green, Ky.—April 22, 2014—Bowling Green is a hotbed for hot rod culture and will host the 17th Annual Southern Spring Tour running April 28 through May 3.

An annual event for members of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America (VCCA), the spring tour brings 50 members touring their 1912 to 1954 vintage Chevrolets to cities across the southern United States.

Bowling Green area attractions like the GM Bowling Green Assembly Plant, the National Corvette Museum, the Historic Railpark & Train Museum, South Union Shaker Village and Mammoth Cave National Park will be hosting these classic cars and drivers.

The VCCA is an international non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and restoration of Chevrolet cars and trucks. Founded in 1961, the organization has more than eight thousand club members and is one of the largest Chevy clubs in the world. Local and national tours, car shows, swap meets, technical seminars and charity events are among the VCCA’s many activities.
