The Bowling Green Area Convention & Visitors Bureau hired Madison Lindsey as its new Marketing Director. Lindsey is responsible for leading the bureau’s regional and national marketing efforts.
Lindsey brings knowledge and experience that will be used to market and promote Bowling Green as a travel destination. She will direct the advertising, marketing and paid media efforts for the bureau, while working internally with all staff to ensure consistent branding and messaging when it comes to selling and promoting the destination. Lindsey, a Mayfield, KY native, is a 2017 WKU Broadcast Journalism graduate. She spent the last four years in Nashville, TN working in marketing for a home inspection company.
"I am thrilled to be back in Bowling Green,” Lindsey said. “ I fell in love with the city when I first moved here for college in 2013 and I enjoy witnessing the growth of the area. Marketing is more than just promoting - it’s about telling the story of Bowling Green, and sharing the stories of our city with others.”
Prior to her professional marketing experience in Nashville, TN, Lindsey spent four years working with WKU-PBS.
The bureau’s previous Marketing Director, Marissa Butler, is transitioning into a new role at the bureau focusing on community partnerships and meetings & convention sales and services.
