SKyPAC
Back to Top of ListSince opening its doors in 2012, the Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center has served as the region's hub for all things performing arts. SKyPAC is home to an in-house orchestra, Orchestra Kentucky, who hold several performances of contemporary and classical pieces for everyone to enjoy. SKyPAC also hosts several larger acts such as ZZ Top or The Avett Brothers. Spillway Bar & Grill

Van Meter Hall
Back to Top of ListLocated on Western Kentucky University’s campus, Van Meter Hall is a 1,000-seat auditorium, serving as the home of all things music and performing arts at the university. Musical acts that perform here include WKU wind ensemble, symphonic band, campus community band, jazz band, all campus choirs, the WKU Symphony, and chamber ensembles, all of which perform classical, contemporary, and jazz pieces for anyone to enjoy. The Capitol
Back to Top of ListDespite its start as a movie theater in 1911, The Capitol isn’t just for movies—it’s a beautiful, historic venue for plenty of musicians to share their talent to the Bowling Green community and beyond. Managed by the Warren County Public Library, The Capitol serves as a premiere venue for music lovers to watch their favorite acts in a more intimate setting than a sold-out stadium. Fountain Row Friday
Running from early May to late June, Fountain Row Fridays features awesome local acts in the heart of downtown at Fountain Square Park every Friday. Come to see just the concerts or explore the square while listening to great music for FREE. Concerts in the Park
Every summer, Circus Square Park is host to FREE concerts every Friday with food trucks and great local music starting at 7:00pm (food trucks open at 6:00pm). In 2025, Concerts in the Park runs from June 20 to September 5. For an updated lineup and information regarding the concert series, check out their Facebook page.
Winterfest
Running every Friday for just a couple weeks during the winter, Winterfest brings local music acts to The Capitol for music lovers to enjoy some live music while keeping warm in the winter weather. The 2025 series ran from February 7–28, with 2026 dates TBD. For updates regarding Winterfest, take a look at their Facebook page.
Where will you listen first?
While these venues are great places to catch a show, other local attractions not featured, such as our wineries, restaurants and bars, may occasionally host musical acts. Be sure to check out our Events this Weekend page for additional concerts as they come and things happening around Bowling Green.
