Sharing the best of our community and telling stories that inspire travelers to visit Bowling Green, KY is what we do, but we know when to take a back seat. The weeks following December 11 were incredibly challenging for our community and state. As we were in daily talks with elected officials and emergency management on how we could best help, we were also, like so many, fielding calls and emails from across the globe (much love to Kawanishi, Japan!) with offers of help and support. This outpouring of kindness has restored our unbridled spirit like nothing we’ve ever seen. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We are hurting but love heals.
So, now is time to celebrate being #BGStrong while still honoring the lives we have lost. We have curated a list of positive stories and will be sharing them with you here and across our social media. Special thanks to our local media partners for shining the spotlight on so much goodness. And to the countless individuals and organizations who have gone above and beyond to help those in need, you are the reason it is an honor and a privilege to promote Bowling Green and Warren County every single day.
