Lost River is located on a 72-acre urban park that provides an escape from the city that surrounds it. Nestled into a wooded valley with trails that wind through the areas signature blue holes, visitors can explore the beautiful environment that surrounds the cave. Other activities include a seasonal butterfly habitat, visitor center and giftshop, outdoor play space, gem sluice and snack shack.
Venture a short 45 minutes outside of Bowling Green to explore the world’s longest known cave system, with over 426 miles map and more yet to be discovered, Mammoth Cave National Park is a can't miss experience. A variety of tours are offered from accessible and laid-back experiences that show off the history and can’t miss sights of the tour, to wild cave tours that have you on your hands and knees exploring sights few have dared venture to.
