Recently restored, the iconic fountain in downtown Bowling Green is a must-see for any newcomer to town! The park also underwent renovations with another phase expected soon, so Fountain Square Park is truly the polished gem of Bowling Green and one of the city's top spots for photos.

Dedicated in 1872, this enchanting green space was once the town square and site of parades, protests, pageants and more. Lined by beautifully-restored historic buildings, Fountain Square is a vibrant destination again, making the park a perfect spot for watching the world go by. Named one of the Top Ten Public Spaces for 2010 by the American Planning Association! Free weekly summer Concerts in the Park series every June.

A brochure is available at the Convention & Visitors Bureau or at Candle Makers on the Square for a self-guided tour of the historic buildings on Fountain Square.
