The covered, open-air SoKY Marketplace is a welcoming venue for customers to shop directly from local farmers and artisans each weekend in historic downtown. Located at the corner of 6th Avenue and Center St. behind the Southern KY Performing Arts Center, the market is open year-round under the pavilion or inside the adjacent Historic Venue on 7th.
Market hours are Saturdays from 8am until 1pm with the indoor Crop Shop available Tuesday-Thursday afternoons. Aspiring chefs, culinary professionals and groups can rent the commercial kitchen, or use the unique space for a special event. Additionally, on its adjacent green space, the organization hosts outdoor movies and other events at The Green Amphitheater throughout the spring, summer and fall.
