Frankfort, Kentucky, August 1, 2013 – The Kentucky Travel Industry Association has selected the U.S. Bank Balloons, Tunes & BBQ as part of their 2013 Fall Top 10 Festivals & Events. Held in Bowling Green, September 5-8, the skies over Bowling Green will again be filled with color this year at the U.S. Bank Balloons, Tunes & BBQ festival at the Bowling Green/Warren County Regional Airport.
This exciting event benefiting the United Way features dozens of hot air balloons, a carnival midway and inflatable fair, tethered rides, food vendors, special displays, and a balloon glow. Several bands will be featuring live music throughout the festival, which will be headlined by country music sensation Randy Houser on Saturday evening.

A panel of impartial judges selects the Kentucky Travel Industry Association Top 10 Festivals & Events for each season. Criteria for selection include popularity of the event, its impact on the local tourism economy as well as cultural and historical significance.
