Nothing screams summer like a delicious scoop of ice cream — and June is National Dairy Month — so we decided it was a good time to celebrate the delectable dairy dessert in our latest BGKY Eats! video. When you think ice cream in Bowling Green, Chaney's Dairy Barn often comes to mind — after all, USA Today declared that Chaney's has the best ice cream in the state. More recently, Cheapism named Chaney's milkshake the best in Kentucky.
On this episode of BGKY Eats!, we talk to Carl Chaney, co-owner of Chaney's with his wife Debra, and Brie Himes, Chaney's ice cream production manager, about their ice cream and the partnerships they have with some area restaurants and attractions, including the National Corvette Museum and Mammoth Cave National Park!
