July 17th is National Ice Cream Day and we all scream for ice cream, right? You are bound to find a flavor you fall in love with.
Jackson’s Orchard | 1280 Slim Island Road, Bowling Green, KY
If you ask a local where they go for peach ice cream they will tell you Jackson’s Orchard. It is an absolute must if you are visiting Bowling Green, KY when their peaches are in season. Don’t say we didn’t tell you so! Concessions are available at Jackson's Orchard between Peach Festival and Pumpkin Festivals, which means July through October.
Flavor Isle | 103 S Main Street, Smiths Grove, KY
Making the short drive to Smiths Grove in Warren County is always a must when visiting Bowling Green. Once there, you'll realize you've come across some of the best soft serve ice cream ever! While the stops above are unique to Bowling Green, we also must introduce you to Bruster's Ice Cream if you haven't already been. The BG location is one of the PA-based company's top-ranking spots and yes, the ice cream is all homemade in small-batches daily! Bonus — Classic car lovers flock here each Tuesday evening for Cruisin for a Cure car shows.
